710 ESPN Seattle debuts in April with former Sonics play-by-play voice with Kevin Calabro handling a show on the station. Calabro was on the air yesterday (Jan 6) at 710 with midday host Dori Monson for the announcement and talked about his plans. Calabro has an incredible on-air presence that jumps out of the radio. Years ago when KJR first went sports Calabro did fill-in on the morning show for several weeks before the Sonics season started. He doesn't need PBP to be entertaining. It will be fun to hear him on the air when the station signs on in April. Here are a few of the sweepers the station is airing to promote Calabro and the move to sports.
